Chapter One: The Nativity and Early Childhood

Jan 2nd, 2009 | By Richard | Category: fun

I was born on October 22, 1983 in the City of Sta. Maria in Bulacan, about 25 Km North of Manila. I grew up in a small county in Angat, Bulacan and was raised as Roman Catholic. When I was about 3 years old, my dad left for Saudi Arabia and worked there as a technician, I never really noticed that my dad was not around and I am not sure until now if I even bothered to ask my mum where my dad was. All I can remember is I was sitting with my mum in front of our huge radio casette player listening to the audio tapes that my dad sent. That was how my dad and mum communicated.

My dad worked really hard, and was able to save enough money to buy a lot in Sabang, Angat, Bulacan and built a house of our own. He worked even harder and was able to put up our own business when he went back home to the Philippines. Both my dad and my mum strived hard to make our lives better.

Our company grew from small sized to medium sized enterprise, employing around 50 workers. We had numerous projects, big and small. We built numerous crushing plants, batching plants and several others. We had clients from Northern Luzon to Mindanao.

We could have lived an extravagant life, but we chose to live a simple life.
