The long wait has come to an end. I am giving up. I did everything I could to turn the tide in favor of me. I hoped and I prayed, and I faked my emotions. I hid my true feelings. I pretended I was strong. I convinced myself that I could see hope, but deep inside I knew it was a losing battle. And now it has been made clear, “The Fight is Over”.

Acknowledging my defeat - 12:43 PM, Dubai, U.A.E., December 29, 2008

To all my friends here in U.A.E., i think it’s about time to bid my farewell. I really had fun! Everyday - The traffic was exhausting, work was tiring, but Thursday nights and holidays were awesome if spent with you. I must say I learned a lot (though I said it a million times already - I guess you never stop learning). I thank all the people who cared for me, and all who believed in me. I am going back home soon, and definitely, I can never set foot in this land ever again. But I know we’ll see each other again, and we’ll celebrate our friendship and reminisce the wonderful times we spent together.

This is difficult for me. I don’t wanna hide my feelings anymore, I can not hold it inside any longer, I am crying a little (since i haven’t cried for a long time), I am just making my tear glands work, I might find a career in entertainment (hehe)!

So i guess, this is it. Let me say it in 7 languages, 5 of which are widely spoken here in U.A.E., the other two, which are Spanish and Italian, is just to make it cute. Hehe.
